Employee assistance & professional wellbeing

A confidential place for human-service workers to pause, reflect and reset.

Individual and tailored workplace support for employees, practitioners and teams navigating stress, complex work, vicarious trauma, critical incidents or ethical pressure.

A calm professional wellbeing conversation in a welcoming room

A human place to begin

Support that understands the emotional weight of helping work.

People working in disability, community services, health and human services often carry responsibility that is difficult to leave at the office door. Employee assistance can provide a private, independent space to think clearly, strengthen boundaries and protect wellbeing.

Whole Warrior Solutions can work directly with an organisation under an agreed EAP arrangement, or discuss private professional wellbeing support with an individual. Confidentiality, reporting boundaries, fees and the purpose of the engagement are clarified before sessions begin.

How support may help

Practical support for demanding roles.

The focus is shaped around the worker, workplace context and agreed scope—not a generic employee programme.

01

Stress and burnout

Recognise pressure early, restore boundaries and develop realistic wellbeing strategies.

02

Vicarious trauma

Reflect on the impact of exposure to trauma while strengthening sustainable professional practice.

03

Critical incident support

Structured debriefing and stabilising support after difficult events; not emergency response or a formal investigation.

04

Reflective practice

Think through complex cases, ethical tensions, communication and professional decision-making.

05

Workplace change

Navigate role changes, conflict, uncertainty, return-to-work pressures or loss of confidence.

06

Team wellbeing

Tailored facilitated conversations or workshops may be available for small teams.

Is this the right fit?

This may be useful when the work is affecting the person behind the role.

An initial conversation clarifies whether EAP, private counselling, professional consultation or another service is the best fit.

Kind words

Tania has an extremely calm nature and her delivery certainly made me feel comfortable.

Questions about this service

Helpful information before you enquire.

View all frequently asked questions →
Will my employer receive session details?

Not ordinarily. The limits of confidentiality and any de-identified attendance reporting are agreed before support begins. Information may be disclosed where consent, serious safety concerns or law require it.

Is this clinical supervision?

Sessions may include reflective practice, case reflection and professional wellbeing, but suitability depends on the participant’s role and any supervision requirements set by their employer or professional body.

Can you support a whole team after a critical incident?

A tailored response may be discussed. Whole Warrior Solutions is not an emergency response service and does not replace an employer’s WHS, investigation or crisis procedures. If there is immediate danger, call 000; for crisis support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14.

Can sessions be virtual?

Yes. Most employee assistance and professional wellbeing sessions are delivered virtually across Australia.
