Getting started

You’ve booked—what happens next?

Simple guidance for preparing for your first Whole Warrior Solutions appointment without needing to have everything worked out.

Check the practical details

Your booking confirmation will include the appointment time and delivery details. Add it to your calendar and check whether the session is online, at an agreed location or another arrangement confirmed with you.

For telehealth, choose a private place if possible, charge your device and test your internet, camera and sound. Headphones can help with privacy.

Bring only what feels useful

  • A short list of questions or hopes for the session
  • Relevant referral or NDIS information if the service requires it
  • Communication or accessibility preferences
  • A support person, where this has been discussed and agreed
  • Water, comfort items or anything that helps you settle

You remain in control

You do not need to tell your whole story in the first session. Tania will explain the service, confidentiality and boundaries, and ask what would help you feel comfortable enough to begin.

You can ask questions, request a pause, say that you do not want to discuss something or decide that the service is not the right fit.

If something changes

Use the contact details in your confirmation or the secure booking portal if you need to reschedule or cancel. The terms supplied with your booking or service agreement apply.

An appointment is not an emergency service. If there is immediate danger, call 000. For 24-hour crisis support in Australia, contact Lifeline on 13 11 14.
